  1. Yeah is a disappointment, Aretha has a range and this cd shows that off to some extent, however, it is not a pleasant listening experience. Areth keen to show the range highs fails to get the balance right, the fake live performance add in by the production staff destroy the original material and Aretha at times screeches the high notes/5(20).
  2. Limited Edition g Audiophile Vinyl! Although Aretha Franklin is known for her larger than life soulful R&B vocals, this album sees her at her jazziest. If she had wanted to concentrate on this one area of her talent, she would still be ruling it. "One of the great myths in music is that Aretha didn't blossom until she signed with Atlantic.
  3. Sub title: Aretha Franklin In Person With Her Quartet Recorded Live In New York February 10, Original released in on Columbia CS /5(5).
  4. Despite the sounds of an overdubbed nightclub audience heard throughout, 's Yeah!!! is not a live album but an excellent New York Columbia Studio recording produced by the great Clyde Otis. It's one of Aretha's finest Columbia Records collections regardless, a jazzy twelve-track quartet affair highlighted by soaring takes on "Muddy Water," "Without the One You Love" and "Trouble In Mind" among others.
  5. Yeah!!!, an Album by Aretha Franklin. Released in July on Columbia (catalog no. CL; Vinyl LP). Genres: Standards, Vocal Jazz. Featured peformers: Aretha Franklin (vocals), Kenny Burrell (guitar), Clyde Otis (producer).

  7. Trouble in mind, yes, it's true I have almost lost my mind Never had some much trouble In my life before Now if it don't stop I'm going right on down to the river I'm gonna take my easy chair And if the blues don't get me I'm gonna rock on away from here Talking about I'm trouble in mind, oh yes, I'm blue I have almost lost my mind Never had.
